Ad Fontes Scientia
All donations go to a main account called “Ad Fontes Scientia” since science education needs to be a return the “original sources”–including nature itself. Field trips and speaker meetings are expensive but needed at times both locally and long distance. Since the primary goal is to give fellows first hand experiences, all mentoring and training culminates in research, projects, field work, and internships with professionals.
How you'll help
To ensure that the change desired can be affected in the quality of a classically oriented STEM education, there needs to be additional funding for professional teaching development, tutoring resources, and mentoring to assist in the overall process. The highly innovative fellowship concentrates the instructional environment upon experiment and research, along with future applications and experiences in science and math.
